MÓNICA BARRÓN was born in Cochabamba, Bolivia. She studied Art at Manchester College in Indiana (USA). After several years of employment with the United Nations in Washington, D.C., Rome and Vienna, she settled in Austria where she married Anton Mühlhofer. At present, Mónica devotes her time to painting, a passion since childhood. “A painting is not thought out and settled
in advance - while it is being done, it changes as one's thoughts
change. and when it is finished, it goes on changing, according
to the state of mind of whoever is looking at it.“
